| Set | Ask students their opinion about some news story. For example; should the US be spending so much on coordinating NASA missions with Mir? |

Direct students to log onto interent & proceed to www.cagle.com & select editorial cartoons contents page from the left hand navigation column then select editorial cartoons:page 1 from the contents page. Proceed through cartoons pages. Ask students to scan the cartoons and choose what they feel is the most interesting point of view shown. Distribute handout and review the questions. |
